Weird how true this is. So very very true especially at certain times in life

Where The Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein was a pleasant and easy read for kids. Not only were the poems fun to read, but also the simple drawings inside were a great complement and you didn't even mind the lack of color.

The Giver by Lois Lowry - I believe production has started on a movie version...I love it when my favorite books become movies!

The Giver - Read. I read this when I was in middle school and I didn't like it then. So, I thought, with the movie coming out, I'd give it another shot. Still leaves a bit to be desired, but the dystopian genre always makes me think.

Mockingjay, by Suzanne Collins. The third and final book of the Hunger Games series. I liked books 1 and 2 much better, but Mockingjay tied things up nicely.

A book defiantly worth reading if you have lost a loved one.  It would be a great read if you haven't either.
