American Swallow-Tailed Kite...one of our favorite birds to look out for here in TX

Swallow-Tailed Kite breeds from the southeastern U. to eastern Peru and northern Argentina. Most North and Central American breeders winter in So. America where the species is resident year round.

"The pose was a result of the effort to catch the bug." That extra wiggle to get it.
