"When in Yangon visit the Shwedagon Pagoda just before sunset so you can first marvel at its natural golden structure. Then at dusk experience its beauty light up against the starry sky. Interesting information I learned from the locals: 'Shwe' in Burmese literally means gold. So in Myanmar there are lots of establishments with the word 'Shwe' in their names. Gold is such a huge part of their culture" shares @nickasaka. #agodalens

Pan Mee or Ban Mian is a Hakka-style noodle and a local favourite. While its origins are highly debated, what isn’t in doubt is how much Malaysians love this dish. There are several Pan Mee restaurant chains in Malaysia that have become very popular, but legendary status is reserved for the original Restoran Kin Kin outlet located along Jalan Dewan Sultan Sulaiman. The outlet is a five-minute walk from the Chow Kit Market.

Baan Kao Nhom on Ayutthaya's south side offers a different kind of coffee break. The usual lattes mochas and cappuccinos are great but what really stands out are the traditional Thai sweets. Known as kanom in Thai many of these treats are difficult to find elsewhere. Be sure to try the ja mongkut dumplings of sweetened egg yolk paste in a crunchy flour "crown" - it's an old favorite that's increasingly fading out of existence. Photo by @nanamonmon. #agodalens
