Tea caddies made of super thin cherry bark wood. I went to the old village where they still make it - the only place in all of Japan. Kakunodate (just southeast of Lake Tazawa). Saw a lamp in a high-end Japanese craft store in Tokyo, figured out where it was made (after purchasing the expensive lamp and hand carrying it home on the plane), and went there on a later Tokyo trip!
