Loki Laufeyson has created all manner of mischief throughout the Universe and he’s done it in many forms. Whether appearing as man, woman, or child, Thor’s brother has found a way to wreak havoc and he’s done it in style. Loki wields the power of a god, making him more than a match for the Sorcerer Supreme.
They were so connected that the Hulk was always able to see Doctor Strange, even while in his astral form. That might have been a statement about the Hulk’s pure mind, but they also seemed to have a legitimate mental connection, where Hulk could call Strange to his side while in distress. It was generally Strange’s friendship with the Hulk that kept ol’ lettuce lips in line with the Defenders for as long as he did; a remarkable achievement indeed.
The Empirikul cut a swath across the dimensions, murdering every practitioner of magic they could find, eventually making it to the Sorcerer Supreme. The Imperator proves to be nearly impossible to defeat and Strange must call on several other wizards and seek out many magical artifacts to aid him in doing so. He must also enlist the help of the “Thing in the Cellar”, which was comprised of Doctor Strange’s magical burden. As the Ancient One once taught him, “Every punch comes with a cost."
He would show up to save the day at the last second, He would be attacked/held hostage and Strange would need to save him. He would show up to give Strange a new magical artifact. When he was killed it really did open up a lot for his apprentice, as Strange no longer had the safety net of the Ancient One always around to catch him if he fell.
Loki even manipulated Doctor Strange into using his magic to bring Thor’s hammer to him. Strange discovers his duplicity before Loki can get his mitts on Mjolnir, but try as he might, he simply could not best the Trickster in battle. Thor wound up having to save the day.
And they weren't talking about recurring to the use of violence as The Vishanti itself almost fought Slorioth( But this would destroy the universe) and the other mystical entities during the War of Seven Spheres, so we can just assume they mean that Galan is a lower form of life to them. Oh! The fights between Agamotto and Strange, as well Agamotto and Galactus were written by the same person....It makes a lot of sense for Agamotto to hold back.
