Tom Conway - Born Thomas Charles Sanders on Sept. 15, 1904 in St. Petersburg, Russiam. Died April 22, 1967 of liver ailment in Culver City, Calif. Conway was the suave star of nearly 300 movies, including the "Falcon" series, and the radio serials "Sherlock Holmes" and "The Saint." He was discovered in a $2-a-night Venice hotel room. Conway was the brother of actor George Sanders,but the two had a falling out . Five years later Sanders took his own life in a Spanish hotel room.
