1923 Sears Kit House Catalog - Antique Home::Vintage House Plans

The Argyle - 1923 Sears Roebuck Modern Homes - The Argyle is a pleasing small bungalow with two bedrooms and a easy living floor plan. Its exposed beams, rafter tails, elaborated verge boards, and built-ins.

Of the many home styles build during the first half of the 20th century, none was more popular than the Colonial Revival. This particular Dutch Colonial is quite grand with a central hall entry and elegant stairway, a sun room with a fireplace adjoining the living room on one end of the house and a matching open porch on the other. Upstairs, four bedrooms and bath, and a sewing room which could easily have become a walk-in closet.

National Homes were built for returning GI's and their families starting around 1949. Our first house was a brand new little white cape cod, not a National Home, but Nationals were all around us and all over town and most of them are still around today

the back bedroom and bath would eat up some of that patio space and be more spacious. I like a big Master :)
