Oldest rock art in Egypt thought to be about 15,000 years old, contemporary with Lascaux and Altimira.

NAMIBIA. Polychrome Bushman/San paintings apparently depicting the head and white neck of a giraffe facing right approached by 3 decorated figures (on right). The paintings are located behind a narrow ledge high up on the Brandberg massif and it is probable that this was ritual site, perhaps a rain making site. #namibia #africanrockart http://africanrockart.org/tara-african-rock-art-photo-gallery/namibia/
