The wildly popular and kitschy (even then) Keane Big Eyes paintings were everywhere in the mid-60s. Applied to clowns, animals, people and practically anything with eyes, they were hard to avoid. The inevitable knockoffs followed, including artist Eden Lee who specialized in mod go-go kids. I actually had these two prints in my bedroom for a brief time (the coolness-factor passed quickly). But I remember adoring them when I got them. I can't believe I found these online.
