This is the very 1960 Ferrari 250 Spider that belonged to Wolfgang Berghe von Trips, the Ferrari driver that was killed in the opening laps in Monza at the 1961 F1 GP. This was the first Ferrari I rode, it was July 27, 1962 a month before von Trips accident. We went from the family house in Canelli to Linate Airport in Milan. Subsequently my uncle Roberto bought that car. As seen here, the car still has the same color combination, dark green body and burgundy leather interior.
