Portrait of a girl 16th century Italy.

Very similar to another portrait I'm studying (Eleanora (Dianora) di Garzia de Medici) but I have no attribution information for this image. The colors of the undergowns are similar as well as the details of the partlet, sleeves, jewelry, etc.

Mary Tudor, 3rd Queen consort of Louis XII, King of France.  Afterwards, she married Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk and was grandmother to Lady Jane Grey.

Catherine of Aragon. Catherine was a blonde, yet stereotypical portrayals of her usually use a dark-haired model. Queen Catherine was the Blonde 'Good Girl' to her public, while Anne Boleyn was the Dark-eyed, Dark-haired 'Bad Girl.' In Renaissance romances, Blondes were Good & Brunettes were Bad. Hence the horror when King Henry made a Bad Brunette his Queen.
