Kalfu (Hatian Voudou) Kalfu, or Kalfou (or Carrefour, depending on what language you worship voodoo gods in), is a Haitian Voodoo god of…roads coming together. This might not scare the everyday American, but in Haiti and for Voodoo worshippers, this god carries a particular strength: harnessing good and evil of the future. Part trickster, part devil and part god, Kalfu is a creature that denies being demonic at all, but considers himself a “lone wolf” within the teachings of Voodoo.
Throughout history, the Gray Wolf has been worshipped, feared, and hunted, as told through fables, tales and literature. In her latest painting, Divin’s use of color on "The Gray Wolf" makes him come to life. His face looks as if it could be easily touched. "The Gray Wolf" is a realistic oil painting by Divin that makes one wonder what is going through the mind of the lone wolf as he rests upon the fresh grass.
