A view of the UK Parliament, taken just after it rained, as ever in London! But then a lovely golden sky emerged. I hope you like it. You can see more of my photos at: www.photojohnwright.net
Rosmarinus officinalis ‘Golden Rain’ (photo courtesy of Saxon Holt/PhotoBotanic). This is an interesting variety -- I like the notion of a second rosemary variety that might bring some golden tones and different colored flowers.
Krinkled white peony. This is probably the finest of all the white singles; flowers are large and numerous; open a delicate pink, but soon become a pure, translucent white; petals are large and crinkled like crepe paper; small tuft of golden stamens in the centre; stands up well in the rain; light green foliage; strong, slender stems — seldom needs staking; excellent cut flower; usually quite inexpensive
California Academy of Sciences - also in Golden Gate Park. This place is filled with awesome shit like an albino alligators, penguins, a rain-forest biome, a shake house. They also close down early on Thursday night to let adults come in and get drunk.
