Crumb was soooooo radical.if you get a chance, rent the DVD "Crumb".it will make your dysfunctional family look like the Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving painting.

"Safety suckers" for little kids.  The handles were a sort of stiff string, which got kinda floppy halfway through the candy.  They were supposed to be less of a choking hazard than the paper sticks.

Saf-T-Pops, I remember the bank tellers & grocery cashiers handing these out for the time when they chgd the stick, we use to unravel the paper handle on these.
