Antique zinc covered trunk. Trunkman writes on Collector Weekly, "I picked this up this week and cleaned up the zinc and re-stained the oak slats. Zinc trunks are hard to come across as they were made for a short period of time between 1860's and 70's. The zinc patina comes out as a nice bluish grey tone. This trunk has high end features like an all brass lock, double corner pieces and beautiful clam shell clasps for the handles. The lock is from Keystone lockworks PA. dated Oct. 27th 1868."
