Brazilian Native, Typical or Popular Caíco The Caíco is a small sailing boat originally used for fishing, typical in the Lagoa dos Patos, south Brazil. Similar to the Bateira, built usually from Cedro or Grápia timber. Its design is flat with hard chine planks. With triangular sails it uses a small jib.
