Oooh.  This is a fairyhouse built into a fireplace. The little door opens, and there's so much to see when you look inside ... There is a miniature fireplace within. A curving stair leads to a balcony with another door. To the right on the first floor there is a door which leads to a room beyond with a checkered floor. Sometimes there is a light on in the far room.  How neat is that??

L.O.V.E. It makes me want to cut a hole in the wall next to my dollhouse (which is already in the wall) and place a tiny mouse in it! I can see a little village running along the baseboards- a bakery, a butcher, a grocer, a movie theater, a candy shop….. That would be an EEK! in a good way. :)
