"Penjing” is the Chinese version of bonsai art means “landscape in a pot’. The chinese art focuses more on creating a convincing land- scape than shaping the perfect miniature tree as Japanese bonsai growers strive to do.
This incredible bonsai is a very unique root over rock style...it is looped through a hole in the underside of the rock. It is also clinging to rock style. You can also see the detail of the root paths and the ramification very well because it is defoliated.
