Beautiful dolphins in the Queen’s Hall - Knossos (Κνωσσός). Knossos palace is an impressive construction dated to the golden age of Minoan civilization. Probably, the palace had 3 floors. It is interesting that there were columns that tapered downwards, as well as so-called ‘light wells’ (apertures in the ceiling leading through all the floors of the construction) that were used for ventilation of premises and instead of windows. There was a full-fledged sewerage in Knossos!
