Paint a variety of Miro-esque shapes(outlines) in a variety of sizes in black. Add 2 – 3 lines that trail through the composition to break up the shapes – again in black. Vary line width to add interest. Paint the inside of the shapes using primary and secondary colors. Change colors across the “break” in a shape. Repeat colors at least three times to create balance. Fun idea: Spritz the piece lightly with liquid watercolor paint to add depth to the background.
