Tall, unusual and conceptual chair of half-round paneled form, The seat can be lifted on hinges forming a misericord supported by a fluted console. A a rare and form of free-standing choir stall, made of oak and having a beautiful unstained light color, with nice patina. Pegged construction, some shrinkage and minor age splits, consistent with age and use.
