"When we first moved into our house, my office was nothing but a bland, beige bonus room over the garage. With the help of an interior decorator, a carpenter, and a very skilled faux-finisher, we transformed it into a pseudo-medieval/Gothic office cum library that seemed to me the perfect lair for a fantasy writer. These photos show my writing nook and the other end of the office. I skipped taking photos of the parts in between, where my art supplies continue to take over."
This tiny 275 square-foot studio in NYC is chock full of space saving solutions and storage ideas. Our favorite DIY in the space is is a wooden bar top that doubles counter space and adds more leg room. The narrow entry way also provides more storage in the form of a thin console table.
