Made by Forrest Lewinger, the artist behind the Brooklyn-based ceramics studio Workaday Handmade, each Speckled Tumbler is hand thrown on the wheel, trimmed, kiln fired, and meticulously speckled one by one. While each speckle is deliberately placed and purposefully calculated, Forrest intends for the results to appear random. Toying with duration and repetition, the speckled pattern is quite time consuming and a challenge that the artist thoroughly enjoys.
