With the goal of creating a mural showcasing diversity and hope for Brunswick, Maine, the artists of this mural were faced with backlash from their community in the original draft of the mural. "There is no satisfactory way of representing the life experiences of diverse communities." Communities came together and signed petitions to change the mural, and the artists did listen and changed the people, poses, and actions of them. Celebration (false celebration) influences community.
