Brenda Gutierrez and Thalia Arredondo of Belvidere, Illinois were killed in a car accident on 2/24/2012 on their way to cheer for the senior night basketball game. They were the best of friends. Since their passing our little town has come together to grieve and celebrate their lives. After their death, only 2 stars were seen in the night sky, the perfect two angels shining down on us.
