This is why I dream of a dark paint colour for a master bedroom...crisp contrast, fresh linens pop, and its the step in between a busy, bright day and dark, soothing sleep.

WALL: BM Pine Green in Aura (richer) DOOR: SW Real Red, semi-gloss. (good to: BM Jade Garden a deep watery teal) For energy added chartreuse & dynamic red. "think beyond "dark" "light" paint, & more about mood. Room is "light" if gets lots of light. If not, it's never going to be light. I prefer to bring in boldness & brightness with deeper wall color to keep it from getting too serious. Best advice - try to define what mood you want when selecting colors & use hues that support that mood.

This post has been a long time coming. I 100% blame the procrastination on the awful pain it is to put an 8 x 10 rug under a crazy heavy king bed, with a million supports beneath it.
