Playing around with the Amish Friendship Bread Starter a few years back I came up with several cookie recipes including this Amish Friendship Bread Nutty Cookie. If you are allergic to nuts then leave out the nuts for a basic yummy cookie which you can add other ingredients to the recipe like chocolate chips, raisins, etc. I took my family favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, added starter and adjusted a few other ingredients to create this one.
