DIY Yarn Wrapped Bottles
I didn’t go all out with the tablescape for Thanksgiving and I’m regretting it a little. The food was delicious and the company was amazing — I just wish I would have done something a little more special. Special doesn’t always mean spending a ton of money, plus, DIY makes it more fun!We all have bottles around the house, most likely sitting in the recycling bin. Why not recycle them in your own house in a fun way?
got this idea from all the fun bottle cap art i've collected from africa. first you need an old chair that needs a new seat. i spray painted this one with a cool metallic silver. took a nail and hammer and poked four holes into each bottle cap. then it is a matter of weaving the wire through and wrapping the ends. (fyi fencing wire is cheap at farm supply stores.)
There’s so much to love about art work in a home. It adds colour, directs focus and brings character to a space. But what I love most is how inspiring it is to be surrounded by things that we genuinely enjoy looking at. These projects can all grace your gallery walls without costing your limbs.TOP ROW:1. Magazines. You can find vintage magazines at op. shops and yard sales or you can frame the magazines you’ve bought for yourself!
