Buddy Guy photos
A key influence on Clapton, Hendrix & SRVaughan, Buddy Guy put the Louisiana hurricane in 60s electric Chicago blues as member of Muddy Waters'. He combined blazing modernism w/fierce grip on his roots, playing frantic leads heavy w/swampy funk on Howlin' Wolf's "Killing Floor" and Koko Taylor's "Wang Dang Doodle". Guy still plays with his original fire. ---- love love Buddy Guy!!!
