I chose this as I like the idea of the eyes being on an irregular part of the body. Where I personally would not choose the tail, I will possibly consider another body area, which may appear more intimidating, especially if I make the eye larger, so possibly somewhere on the abdominal area?

I chose this concept piece as I like how their appears to be a snake for the head and its body goes down the spine of the actual creature. I really like how they have incorporated this in as it really transforms the body from being that of a simple animal. Since I have been looking at doing a reptilian boss in particular, i will perhaps consider this feature. I also have been inspires to perhaps to smaller snakes that flow down on lines of the limbs, possibly posing as weapons?

I chose this piece as I really like the design of the horns. I especially like how they seem to transform into more natural looking leaves, which indicates that a character may be earth/woodland based? Therefore when considering applying this feature to my own character, I will also consider its intended location and how it may effect other features of its body.

I chose this piece as I like how the skin of the creature appears to be tearing away revealing a lower section of different coloured skin. I will perhaps consider this idea but maybe just as a texture for the skin of my boss character. I would also consider changing the colours used in this to fit my character more.

The feature that I liked within this is the winding tree like ropes that are wrapping around the characters. i like how they can bulk out the characters without much effort whilst giving them an eerie feel. I will perhaps consider doing this for my boss, but possibly just for a section such as the torso or an arm.

I really like the design of the head on this character as it appears to have butterfly wings for ears due to their location. The overall look of this is something that I will continue to use in my development stage as a possible base for my designs.

I really like the whole look of this concept piece, but particularly the effect that the protruding jagged rocks have. This effect has inspired me to to perhaps include this feature as a section of skin on my boss. Perhaps it could be on its back, forming a protective shell of sorts?

I really like the look of the fire that is coming away from this characters body. The way the textures blend makes the fire look quite dangerous. I would like to perhaps incorporate this feature into my own boss, however perhaps in patches as if fire was escaping from its body? Or maybe I could include it as an actual limb such as a single arm or a leg.

When considering the scary look that I may be going for, the torso of this piece is something that is considerable for inspiration. The mouth in the center is quite terrifying, and would possibly intimidate the person playing against my boss. Therefore when considering how scary my boss is, I will possibly consider the ferocity/placement of the mouth.
